Noodle Worms!

I have been reading about sensory play and easy experiences you can create for your little ones to explore.  Today we tried spaghetti noodles.  I didn't have much planned, so Beckett and I made it up as we went along.  It was so much fun - starting with white noodles and ending with him putting his feet in a bowl full of rainbow worms. :)

He likes to "dump it!" so we put some noodles in each cup and he scooped and dumped.

Of course the mixer was involved. He said, "It's tangly, like snakes!"

More dumping!

At first, he wasn't too keen on how it felt on his hands.

More mixing

Then we decided to color the noodles. He squeezed in the food coloring.  Note: We both have multi-colored hands. :)

Then we dumped all the different colors onto a paper towel.

He really liked the blue and purple ones.
I put the noodles in a baggie in the fridge so we can play more this afternoon after his nap, if he wants.
