11 Months of Harpiness!

At 11 months, our little sunshine is growing and changing every day.  She has four teeth and is starting to get longer hair! She "scoots" instead of crawls, pulls up on everything, and LOVES to walk by holding hands or cruising behind walking toys.  Her favorite food is bananas (by far), but she will eat anything.  She also loves drinking water!

Harper Jane loves to cuddle at night and in the mornings.  She still nurses at night, which I love because we get such great bonding and snuggling time. The rest of the day, she is becoming more and more independent.  She will play by herself, but loves playing and interacting with other kids and her grandmas, Treva, and Papas!  She also loves her daddy. :)

Her favorite "toy" is Lexi.  She loves her American Girl Doll's eyes, and she likes balls that light up.  She will also play with shape sorters.

Harpy can say "hi!" and "bye!" and wave.  She says dada and mama and she really knows how to get her way. :)

She is a sweet, smart little girl, and our world is better because of this little dolly!

Bubble Babies

Both kids love bubble baths!
Harper just started really liking bath time. She is fascinated by the bubbles and concentrates really intently on them.
Beck loves hiding things and trying to find them!
This next picture really shows similarities in their features, I think...
I can't pinpoint what it is, but there is something sibling-ish in the pic. :)

Doctor's Appointment Details

Beckett had a deep cough the past two days, and today Treva texted me to say he also had a fever. I called the doctor and they wanted to see him because there has been a lot of RSV.

THANKFULLY, he does not have RSV, and I was so proud of how he behaved at the doctor's office! He was such a great listener and wasn't scared of many things that I'm still scared of. (Especially the scale!) He was also incredibly polite and loving, as usual. :)

Waiting and coloring...

Explaining that he is a boy, not a seal, and "it's just a cough, not a seal talking!"

Pulse and oxygen levels, otherwise known as "a finger number machine"
Covering his mouth when he coughed:
"There are nine Becketts!"

Reunited with his favorite tinker bell. "I missed you, Dr. Leifheit!"  She got a smooch and talked to him about he was feeling. He answered all of her questions and asked to see her "tethsoscope". He even got to hold her ear light.
Beckett weighs 30.6 pounds and is 36.5" tall!

And an immeasurable blessing!

Olivia Garden

Harper had her first Olive Garden meal this weekend! Treva and I met Kaitlyn for lunch and the princess loved it.
Kaitlyn was happy to see her, too!
Harper wasn't thrilled with ER carseat, which has been an issue for about a month now. Shonn converted her car seat last night so I'm hoping the bigger seat helps!

Getting BIG

Beckett seems to be growing exponentially. These pictures in the car and at church seem so big!
"That's funny! There's a TV in the car!"
We are ready to switch carseats. Time flies.
Beckett loves the two-year-old room at church. We noticed he still struggles with sharing, but his social skills are otherwise so friendly and outgoing. He love the other kids and is quick to say, "Hi! What's your name?" With the biggest smile. Ahh! Love him.

Super Bowl!

We had a great time with the Kleisses for the Super Bowl! The kids played on the trampoline and with all of Ava's toys, and we ate lots of yummy food!

Mashed Potato Princess

Harper is eating everything from the table now. She loves bananas the most. Mashed potatoes seem to be a close second. :)
So cute!

First chores!

This morning, Beckett noticed Lexi's dish was empty, so I asked him if he could fill it up for her. He said, "Sure, Mom!"  He took the bowl to the garage, scooped up her food, and brought it back in. SO BIG! And sweet. Love him!
