Kracht Christmas

We went to Mee Maw and Papa Kracht's house on Christmas night.  Mom made a delicious and beautiful dinner, and we really enjoyed our time together!  The kids opened presents and we all played. One of the highlights was Beckett trying out his new roller skates, which, as the picture shows, was hilarious.  He was also very excited to use his new toboggan; unfortunately, there wasn't an opportunity to try it outside that night, so Papa drug him through the house - just as fun! Harper and I got matching bracelets, and my parents had a desk nameplate made for my new job, too.  Uncle Matthew loved his BA HUMBUG hat and matching shirt from Beckett, too!  We laughed and relaxed and had a wonderful evening together.

Christmas Morning

We were lucky to have Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at home this year.  It was so relaxing and fun to be at home with our family.

9 Months Already!

This sweet little sunshine is nine months old and gets more fun every day! Her personality is emerging and we love who she is becoming! At this point, I would describe her as sweet, happy, and independent!  She wants to do so much, even though she can't crawl yet!  She can bear weight and wants you to hold her hands so she can walk.  She is also enjoying playing by herself more, as well as getting into her brother's toys. :)  She loves paper and tries to tear things.  She also loves to pick up food and feed herself - she wants to hold her own food and sippy cups.  She has two teeth, which you can see in the first pic, and more on the way! :)

She is our little sweet pea!

Candy Creations

This is the fifth year my mom, grandma, and I have gotten together to make our family candy recipes. This year was extra special because it was four generations of Williams women making the recipes together!  Beckett is a great helper, and he really loves mixing.  So we mixed up some family cookie recipes. Harper was mostly interested in the whisk.  We made Pecan Chew, Fudge (white and chocolate), Divinity, and Caramels.  The cookies we made were sugar and peanut butter blossoms.  At about 2:00, I went to put Beckett down for a nap and fell asleep with him. When I woke up an hour later, some cleaning elves had put everything away and had my kitchen back to normal! (Their names were Janet and Gert.)

We laughed a lot, at a lot, and made a lot of memories.  It was a special, fun day!

Two pretty, sweet girls!

My handsome sous chef!

Grandma and I working on the divinity, which is much MUCH easier with a stand mixer, FYI

Love this little taste tester

What a fun day! :)
