Daddy-Daughter Dance

Shonn took Harper to her third Daddy-Daughter Dance Friday night. She loves going and especially looks forward to the wrist corsage, or “flower bracelet”. He makes her feel so special! (And of course she loves dressing up!)  They ate dinner at the Alamo first and then headed to the dance at Broadway Christian Church.

Meanwhile, Beck and I enjoyed a night together of pizza, treasure X, and cuddling.

So thankful.

Park with Big Braylon

We met Heather and Braylon at the park today for some play time. We visited and had cupcakes leftover from Mandy's shower. Braylon was great with Harper, giving her help on the swings (and rocks to play with) and she kept saying "thank you!"
Then Beck, Harp, and I went to the library. Beckett did an excellent job picking up when I asked and leaving when it was time. Harp was walking everywhere...and took a tiny tumble. She bit her lip, causing her first waking injury, but after a few cuddles, she wanted to go some more! She's so sweet and tough - perfect combo!
Same exact expression!
Beckett built "the beautifullest castle EVER" at the library and wanted me to take lots of pictures before we put it away.
Little lip after falling. Annnnd this next picture was almost immediately after. Wild child!

Pool Party

The kids and I went to Laura's house for lunch and spent about an hour at the Effingham pool. Fun!

Duck Derby

We went to The Children's Museum for the annual Duck Derby last weekend. First we played at Scovill's park and then had a picnic. After that, Beckett did the kiddie games and bounce houses. It was a beautiful day!
