Camping Debut 2014

We met my parents at Wolf Creek for the debut camping trip of the year on Saturday night. We cooked hot dogs and brats, and of course, s'mores!

Beckett loved exploring and he brought me some flowers. :) ❤

Carnival!

Janis and I took the kids to the carnival in Springfield to see the Waldens and enjoy a beautiful day together!

Swimming Again

Tonight's lessons went really well! Beckett swam in his back and kicked a lot, which was a first. He has been too afraid to lean back in the water. The teacher asked him to come to her and he did. She asked him to float and he said, "okay. I will," and he did it! Then she asked if he would put his face in the water and blow bubbles and he did! I was so proud of him. He is so sweet. He also went down the slide about 8 times!

Harp loved laying on her back and kicking. She giggles from all the splashing. She also enjoys reaching for the ball on her tummy, and has no problem at all putting her face in the water!

Mother's Day Scavenger Hunt

Duck Derby

We went to The Children's Museum for the annual Duck Derby last weekend. First we played at Scovill's park and then had a picnic. After that, Beckett did the kiddie games and bounce houses. It was a beautiful day!

Sunnies

I love little kids in sunglasses. Especially mine.

MomDate

Beckett did his first race this weekend! We did a mile fun run for Kaitlen, a second grader at my school with brain tumors. The charity event was at Douglas Hart Nature Center, so after church, Shonn and Harp headed home while Beck and I went to the event, called Kaitlen's Kritter Krawl. We also ate lunch at Steak and Shake and ended the day with Josh Toner's bubble birthday party. It was so much fun!
