I had a great birthday this year! We had our doctor's appointment and then Shonn and I went out for lunch. I felt like a free woman! :) I relaxed with Beckett and my mom the rest of the day, and then we had cherry pie for dessert. Beckett and mom made the cherry pie while we were at the doctor's office because it is one of my favorites. My dad also sent me flowers. One of my favorite things about birthdays is hearing from old friends and people I don't get to talk to often. It just makes you feel so special!
Shonn got me a Cricut machine for my birthday, which is so exciting! Beckett and I have already been making projects using it, and there are so many possibilities! My friend Mindy is getting me some fabric stabilizer so I can cut shapes and designs out for clothes. Jim and Janis gave me a jewelry box organizer from Red Envelope and a silver compact with my name on it. She also spoiled me with a ton of Dove Chocolate...deadly for bed rest! :) My mom picked out some new shirts to fit my pregnant, bed rest lifestyle, and I love them! My friend, Maria, sent me an awesome care package with candy and magazines and lip gloss, too! I am so lucky to have such amazing people in my life.
Funny, this is also the blog's birthday...Shonn pointed out that my first post was on my 30th birthday!
