Lunch with Santa

Mom and I took Beckett on the Monticello train for Lunch with Santa.  It was so much fun!  On the way there, we got a Thomas the Train juice to set the mood.  (He has probably only seen about 5 minutes of a Thomas the Train show, but he recognzies him everywhere!)  We sang songs on the way and arrived at the depot around 9:30.  The depot is really cool - decorated like an old time train station.

We got our tickets for the gold train and headed out to prepare for boarding.

Here we are getting ready to board.  Beckett really loved the train and kept saying, "Train, go? Go now? Choo! Choo!"

Finally, we departed, and Beckett kept looking out the window for "animals", "big bucks", and "wolves".  I think he looks so grown up here!

On the train, Beckett got to meet Santa and tell him what he wanted for Christmas. (This is a completely new concept on so many levels!)  He didn't act afraid or anything; in fact, when Santa walked onto our car, he exclaimed, "TANTA!"

I got a kiss and Grammy got a snuggle:

It was such a fun ride.  I hope we can do it again next year.
