We were playing in the sunroom today and Beckett took out about 15 toys that we talked about, one by one, and then he decided to climb in the tub. While in it, he took the rest of the toys out from underneath him, showed each one to me, and then tossed it out. I was amazed he could get in there, and even more surprised that he knew how to manuever his way in.
He's beginning to climb on everything, and it makes me a nervous wreck. Yesterday morning when I was getting ready, I noticed he left the bathroom and went into my bedroom. I peeked around the corner to see him climbing up on my stepstool to reach for the lamp. He was saying, "ON" as he reached for the switch. Then, today, he tried standing up in his rocking chair, so I taught him how to get in, sit down, and get out. He loved it and turned it into a game he repeated about twenty times, saying each step. (Including "OCK!"for rock.) Grandma Hild also gave him a little wooden bench that I have next to the kitchen island, and he loves pushing it around the room saying, "VRRROOOOM, VROOOM!" Today, he pushed it into the middle of the kitchen and then tried to stand up on it. Oh my. He's a creative and physical boy, that's for sure!
