Best Husband Award

Tonight we had a PTO Meeting at work that I needed to attend at 6:00. Beckett had a rough morning at Casey's. When I texted my mom that he was upset, Mom went over there and took him for a walk, and she said he was fine. (She also said he recognized her right away!) I think he just wants to be held to go to sleep, and if he isn't, he gets fussy, and then over-tired, and then he gets upset and he can't get to sleep. He also seems to be teething, which I'm sure doesn't feel good. I told Casey I would come home and get him, but she said he was fine after the initial crying. It literally made my stomach hurt, though! If he has a rough day again tomorrow, I'm going to see if we can go to the doctor on Thursday. The What to Expect book said to contact the doctor if he had "an unusal amount of crying". He rarely cries, so I just know he isn't feeling well.

Anyway, Shonn knew I was sad about missing Beckett tonight and also worried about him, so after he picked the little squish up, he drove over to Mattoon after and we had dinner together. I am so thankful that he comes up with such thoughtful gestures and shows me he knows how I feel. I'm lucky to have him!

Beckett was all smiles and giggles at school. He just lights up a room. :)

Here Shonn is making Beckett laugh, which he does all the time. I love watching them together.
