Grandpa Hild came to see Beckett yesterday! Beckett is spoiled with Grandma love, but he doesn't get to see his Grandpa that often, so it was a very special treat. (We were very thankful it rained so Grandpa didn't have to work in the fields.) You can tell he loves his Grandpa - they even went fishing like real modern men...on Grandma's iPad!
Janis found this cool app called the Pocket Pond, which is a virtual pond with Coy, Dragonflies, bugs, lillypads, and other fish in it. Whenever you touch the screen, the fish and insects scurry away as if they sense your presence. It is really neat, and Beckett loves it. When Janis told us about it, Shonn got it for his iPad, too, and so now he and Beckett can go fishing together every night!
