Grandma Helps Me Learn

Beckett loves Grandma Hild's visits every Monday and Friday. (Shonn and I do, too!) She does a great job recording what they do each day, and there is always some reading going on. Janis loves books as much as I do - she actually worked as a librarian and knows a lot about children's literature. It's no surprise, then, that she spoils Beckett with wonderful books and spends lots of time reading to him. Last night, she brought down a new book called What Am I? (Available from Sterling Literature: www.sterlingliterature.com) This book is so neat - it has an owl on the cover whose eyes proress to the back of the book. On each page, the eyes get smaller and belong to a different creature. Beckett loves it! (I love it, too - it's very cool!)

I went on amazon to find the link for this book and found a bunch of them like it! There is a Christmas, Halloween, and even an Illinois version. There are actually even more on sterlingpublishing.com. I think they would make great gifts - it certainly was a nice gift for Beckett from his Grandma.

Thanks for helping me learn, Grandma. sXXX (That's a slobbery kiss.)
