Scovil Zoo

Mom and I took Beckett to Scovil Zoo for a few hours and it was a blast! They have redone a lot of the park, and it's a really nice zoo.  I love that it's only about 40 minutes away, too, because it ends up being a nice little nap on the way there, and a nice little nap on the way home.  Here are the pics from our adventure!
ALLLLLL ABOARD! The train was a great way to see some animals, and Beckett loved it.  The breeze was great, too.

This is in the petting zoo part of Scovil.  Beckett is trying to get to the goats, stage right.  Doesn't Grammy look pretty?

"Ooodle, ooodle, OOOO!"

There were teeny baby piglets and a huge sow.  Beckett snorted the whole time. It was hilarious.

Beckett would alternate between baa-ing and maaa-ing at the goats.  They were climbing and jumping everywhere!

We saw the cheetahs from the train.  A cheetah was one of his first stuffed animals, a gift from Mark Forget. These cheetahs were beautiful and just relaxing.

Who's the cute conductor?!

Beckett was fascinated by the wolf, who was prowling back and forth right along the fence line.  He barked at the wolf, who didn't bother answering.

We weren't quite sure what to think of the huge birds with blue tails. Except that he wanted to catch one.

The prairie dogs were adorable, and Beckett barked at them, too.  (There were babies!)

Back at the petting zoo, Beckett made friends with this little fella.

Okay, this goat was by far the cutest one there!  He must have been only a couple months old and just pranced around the entire time.  Beckett chased him, as you will see.

I mean, really?! How cute.

When we got food to give the goats, Beckett said "No, thank you," in the form of a "UUUUH!" and reach upward.  He was like, "Get me outta here!"

"That's better, mom!"

Clearly, these goats are not hungry.  Check out their figures!
We were there for about an hour, and it was just enough time to see the animals and avoid getting too hot.  We stopped at Culver's for some ice cream on the way home - yum!
